Radar
BigVelo speaks the Varia™ rear-radar protocol. Pair from Rear Radar in Settings. The tape is an overlay so the speed hero does not shrink. Placement is left, right, top or bottom. We are not Garmin and not a replacement for looking over your shoulder.
Apple Watch
Install the BigVelo app on Apple Watch. Heart rate comes from the watch. Start, pause and end are pinned. If the glance is stale, check that iPhone and Apple Watch are talking and the phone ride is live.
Routes and GPX
Ride To uses Apple’s cycling directions. Import a GPX from the Route tab — Trailforks, RideWithGPS, Komoot, Strava, or any .gpx. Export GPX from a finished ride’s story. A BigVelo backup is rides plus preferences — not a file another cycling app will open as a single track. Use GPX for that.
